As the global energy structure transforms and the new energy vehicle industry flourishes, new energy cables are gradually becoming the new favorite in the field of power transmission.

 

Four characteristics of new energy cables:

a. High voltage and high current carrying capacity

New energy cables are designed to withstand higher voltage and current loads. For example, vehicle cables can reach specifications of 600V/300A, whereas traditional fuel vehicles typically only have a 12V battery voltage.

b. High and low temperature resistance:

New energy cables need to be able to operate normally under extreme temperatures, requiring materials that can withstand a temperature range from -40℃ to 150℃.

c. Chemical corrosion resistance:

As new energy cables may be exposed to various chemical environments, they need to have properties such as oil resistance, water resistance, and UV aging resistance.

d. Softness and flexibility:

New energy cables, especially charging pile cables, need to have good flexibility and bending performance to adapt to different installation environments.
